Join us in Provence!

Escape with us to Provence, nestled in the French countryside. We’ll be taking over a stunning villa in Maussane-les-Alpilles for five blissful days of movement, meditation, delicious meals, and enjoyment of every baked good the local patisserie and boulangerie can provide.

The stunning property provides perfect spots for practice–inside under a 17th century arched ceiling at the foot of a fireplace and, weather permitting, outside on a terrace shaded by trees that have been on site for over 100 years. Provided meals will be made in house by a chef using locally sourced ingredients, and there will be plenty of time to enjoy the heated pool or play a très français game of pétanque on the lawn.

  • Two movement classes daily

  • Dinner on day of arrival, light breakfast on day of departure, and all meals in between (including an off campus field trip or two)

  • Vineyard visit with wine tasting

  • Market day in Aix-en-Provence

  • Day trip to Calanques (weather permitting)

  • Transportation to all offsite activities

What’s included…

Want more?

While the retreat will be 5 nights, we have access to the property for 7 nights, beginning on May 12. If you would like to add a bonus night (or two!) before the retreat kicks off, please email us at salut@andiamooo for details. These bonus days will be offered at a reduced rate as they don’t include movement or meals.

CJ’s classes will combine breathwork and pilates inspired movements with heart-pumping plyometrics like burpees and jumping jacks to create a strong body and a strong mind both on and off the mat. If you have sensitive joints, please bring sneakers.

Lindsay’s classes will be grounded in yoga and pilates. Sequences will be creative and alignment based. You’ll be challenged, you’ll explore your body and breath, and you’ll end up feeling empowered and restored. As a group, we’ll have space and time to investigate, to inquire, to experiment with props and to play.

BONUS! You can also look forward to a few co-taught classes that will truly have it all, including the best music and the most laughs. We cannot wait to move with you.

How we’ll move:

You’ll be in good hands.

Lindsay Tyson

Lindsay has been practicing yoga for over 20 years, and has been teaching for the past 14. She completed trainings at Pure Yoga, Jivamukti Yoga School, and with Rodney Yee & Colleen Saidman at Yoga Shanti. She has done additional pilates mat and reformer training at Good Day Pilates in NYC.

As a teacher, she helps students cultivate awareness of their strength and ability. Her classes incorporate creative vinyasa sequencing with pilates, meditation and good music. She also works as faculty and as a lecturer for teacher training at Sky Ting Yoga and at Yoga Shanti in NYC and independently mentors new teachers.

CJ Frogozo

Over the last 25 years, CJ has taught everything from step aerobics to vinyasa yoga. She earned her 200-hr teacher training at YogaWorks in Los Angeles under the instruction of Annie Carpenter and Sonya Cottle. She completed her barre3 certification in 2014, taught at The Class from 2017-2024 and is currently teaching at Saltdrop in New York City and The 22 in Florence. In 2017, she was named America’s Most Inspiring Trainer by Reebok and Well+Good.

CJ’s classes combine smart sequencing, a good dose of humor, and an extra helping of hip hop and R&B. She believes fitness should be fun and empowering, not punishment for the slice of cake you had the night before. And there will be cake the night before.

Sample Schedule

This sample schedule gives you a general idea of how the retreat will run. All activities are optional, transport is provided for all offsites, and if you’re thinking of doing some solo exploration, we recommend renting a car. We can’t wait to retreat with you!!

7:30 am Coffee Service: Need to put some pre-practice pep in your step? Swing by for coffee, tea and a light bite before you move.

9:00-10:30 am Movement: The first practice of the day will either be co-taught by CJ and Lindsay or one of us will take the reins while the other participates, demos and assists the room. These classes will vary day to day and will feature a variety of modalities including yoga, cardio, pilates, strengthening moves and meditation to meet the group’s needs.

11:00 am Brunch: Sit down with the group for a delicious meal prepared on site with local ingredients.

12:00-4:00 pm Group activity / Free time: This part of the day has the most variability–we’ll schedule a couple of group excursions, but you can also use this time to relax, book a massage appointment, wander around the property or do your own off campus exploration.

4:30-6:00 pm Movement: The second practice of the day will build off the first, will take into account what we’ve done in the afternoon and what your bodies are feeling and will leave you feeling balanced. Like morning movement, afternoon class will feature different modalities and will be taught by CJ, Lindsay or both!

7:00 PM Dinner: Another incredible team meal with locally sourced ingredients!
